Stunning waterfalls
Tux-Finkenberg has a number of stunning waterfalls within easy reach of almost anyone. In Hintertux there is a separate waterfall path along breathtaking waterfalls that are supplied with water by the ice masses of the Hintertux Glacier. A challenging hike takes you over steps and through moss-covered woodland to the Spannagelhaus on the Hintertux Glacier. The numerous vantage points along this hike are perfect photo motifs to capture the experiences of the holiday.

Winter in Hintertux
The winter months in Hintertux are characterized by snowy landscapes that invite you to go skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing. The Hintertux Glacier ski area offers 60 kilometers of pistes of various levels of difficulty, making it the ideal destination for winter sports enthusiasts of all skill levels. For cross-country skiers, there are more than 28 kilometers of groomed trails that lead through the picturesque winter landscape. Snowshoe hikers and winter hikers can enjoy the untouched nature on well-signposted hiking trails. Family-friendly activities such as tobogganing, ice skating and curling ensure variety and fun for the whole family. Guests can relax and unwind in the cozy huts and restaurants that offer traditional Tyrolean specialties and hearty delicacies.

In addition to the Hintertux Glacier, the Ski & Gletscherwelt Zillertal 3000 offers a total of 202km of perfectly groomed pistes in the Eggalm, Rastkogel, Finkenberg, Penken/Mayrhofen and Ahorn ski areas. In the family-friendly ski area with fun slopes, there are pistes of all levels of difficulty and for the little ones, the ski schools with children’s areas and ski kindergartens offer the perfect conditions to turn the little ones into big ski enthusiasts.
