Tux-Finkenberg has a number of breathtaking waterfalls that are easily accessible to almost everyone. In Hintertux there is its own waterfall path along breathtaking waterfalls, which are supplied with water by the ice masses of the Hintertux Glacier. A challenging hike takes you over steps and through moss-covered forests to the Spannagelhaus on the Hintertux Glacier. There is enough program for an extensive summer vacation with the family. A snowball fight in the middle of summer is also possible thanks to the Hintertux Glacier and offers a cool change on hot summer days. Children's canyoning in the mountain streams and exciting cave trekking are other activities that make your summer vacation an unforgettable experience. In winter, the 5 children's ski and snowboard schools with the spacious children's ski parks at the Eggalmbahn mountain station, Pepi's children's club at Penkenjoch or the Gletscherflohpark in Hintertux offer enough alternatives to introduce the kids to the fun on two boards at an early age.

The winter months in Hintertux are characterized by snowy landscapes that are ideal for skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing. The Hintertux Glacier ski area offers 60 kilometers of slopes of various levels of difficulty, making it the ideal destination for winter sports enthusiasts of all skill levels.
There are more than 28 kilometers of groomed trails available for cross-country skiers, which lead through the picturesque winter landscape. Snowshoe hikers and winter hikers can enjoy the untouched nature on well-marked hiking trails.
Family-friendly activities such as tobogganing, ice skating and curling provide variety and fun for the whole family. Guests can find relaxation and recreation in the cozy huts and restaurants that offer traditional Tyrolean specialties and hearty delicacies.

Skiing fun right on our doorstep 365 days a year! As the only year-round ski area in Austria, the Hintertux Glacier offers the best piste conditions in both winter and summer. In addition to the Hintertux Glacier, the Ski & Glacier World Zillertal 3000 offers a total of 202 km of perfectly groomed slopes in the Eggalm, Rastkogel, Finkenberg, Penken/Mayrhofen and Ahorn ski areas. In the family-friendly ski area with fun slopes, there are slopes of all difficulty levels and for the very little ones, the ski schools with children's areas and ski kindergartens offer the perfect conditions to turn the little ones into big ski enthusiasts.
